Chris Efessiou, PhD, is an Entrepreneur, Marketing Strategist, Negotiations Architect, Speaker, Author of CDO Chief Daddy Officer®-The Business of Fatherhood, Radio Show Host of Straight Up with Chris: Real Talk on Business & Parenthood, who now proudly joins MomTV as a Live Show Host.

Chris understands first hand that the dynamics of success are the same whether you are addressing a group at work, or tucking your child into bed at night. As the number of children living in single-parent households and stay-at-home parents has exponentially increased, a new generation of working parents has evolved. Through his own personal experiences, he shares his discovery of how the skills critical to becoming a successful business leader can be seamlessly applied to parenting and personal relationship with equal efficiency.

In the last 27 years Chris has been at the heart of the strategic product introduction of more than 20 new products in the global pharmaceutical marketplace, and engineered the turnaround of several others. A partial list of his credits includes the development of the 2005-2007 professional communications and education campaigns which helped Mucinex® become the largest product in its market. In 2011 he engineered MAAX™ a hybrid marketing vehicle, which produced a net ROI of 5.2, the largest known Return on Investment in the industry.

While building his first company, he found himself raising his then 7 year old daughter as a single dad by applying his business knowledge to the business of parenting with equal dedication. Reflecting on the 17 years of his single parenting, admiring the person his daughter has become, and rejoicing in their relationship, he considers this to be his crowning achievement. His ardor has always been the art of crafting and negotiating a deal, which he now teaches as a visiting professor at the George Mason University School of Management and at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.

Chris firmly believes that planning, setting proper expectations and measuring results, building team unity, empowering your people, fostering bilateral communication, mentoring, leading by example and being physically present and emotionally available are essential components for a prosperous business and a loving family.
